Spring Spruce Up
Now that spring has finally arrived, it is a great time to declutter your home and give it a fresh new look. This blog features storage and decor tips that you can try to give your home a spring spruce up.
In a Clarendon home, a sliding wardrobe is featured in every master bedroom as standard. Sliding wardrobes not only look elegant but they are also great space savers, while mirrored ones give the illusion of a bigger room. Decluttering and organising your wardrobe can prepare you for the warmer months by removing chunky knit jumpers to make space for summer clothes.
Giving your bathroom a colour change can be fun and easy, by adding plants and coloured accessories. A spring scent to the room can really personalise your home with your favourite smells and keep the bathroom smelling fresh. Diffusers are an effortless way to achieve this.
For cleaning, we recommend trying inexpensive natural cleaning solutions to make your bathroom shine. Dilute equal parts vinegar with water and decant into a spray bottle. Spray onto basins and shower doors, and clean with a soft cloth!
For many people, the kitchen and lounge areas are the heart of the home where they like to spend most of their time, and entertain family and friends. To keep these rooms stylish and clutter free, storage baskets on shelving are a great way to conceal items whilst still keeping them easily accessible. Adding some artificial plants and brightly coloured vases can also create great decorative centre pieces, which do not need the attention of real plants.
A decluttered and organised study results in a calm office space to work in. By adding a trunk for paperwork, a leaning ladder shelf for photos and books, and throws and cushions, this ‘formal’ space can become a little more relaxed. A coloured feature wall also adds a bit of character to what is typically one of the plainer rooms in the home.
