New build homes in Harrietsham

Clarendon Homes built their first home in 1999 located in a small village called Harrietsham. Since then we have built further developments in this village alongside our own Head Office. Harrietsham is a very well connected village which has managed to keep its rural charm.

Harrietsham’s location is enviable. On the doorstep of some of England’s most beautiful countryside, and with excellent road and rail connections.

The village itself has its own post office and two local shops, as well as a pub and restaurant for those looking to grab a bite to eat. Harrietsham’s road connections means travelling further afield is not a problem. The A20 connecting to the M20, means Maidstone and Ashford are both within easy reach by car. The village also has a train station with services running every hour to London Victoria, and there are direct links to Maidstone, Canterbury and Ashford.

Local schools

Education is often a key factor when you’re looking for a new family home. Harrietsham is home to the Harrietsham C Of E Primary School, but with a short drive lots of different schooling options are available. The Lenham School in the neighbouring village is also a popular option for local secondary school students.

For older children there are several well-regarded grammar schools and colleges in Maidstone and Ashford. Additionally, the private sector is also well represented for all age groups, such as Sutton Valence School which is within easy reach.
