Maidstone is a perfect area for people of all ages to live, with plenty of activities and amenities. The town centre boasts lots of shops, and a large entertainment centre including a cinema, bowling and much more. There are also lots of eateries and bars spread throughout Maidstone with an option for everyone.

Mulberry Place is located a few minutes’ walk from the idyllic Mote park which offers peaceful walks, water sports, a children’s park, and lots more. Leeds Castle is also a local landmark which attracts more than half a million visitors each year.

Maidstone is very well connected. Is is a very short drive from the M20, and the rail connections are equally as good. With two train stations, you can get from Maidstone to London in around an hour. If you are a frequent flier, Maidstone is a 45-minute drive from Gatwick Airport making it perfect for all holiday lovers.

There are many great performing schools in Maidstone. These include Maidstone Grammar School and Invicta Grammar School which are classed as Good and Outstanding by Ofsted respectively.

St John’s Church of England Primary School and Roseacre Junior school are also high achieving primary schools in Maidstone.

Slightly further afield the highest achieving primary school in Kent is the Stowting Church of England Primary School in Ashford. The Dartford Grammar School for Girls was the highest achieving secondary school!
