Out with the old, in with the new! Our website has served us well over the years, but we are excited to announce that it has now been redesigned, not only to give it a shiny new feel, but to make things easier for you.
Whether on desktop or mobile, finding your way around will be easier than ever, to ensure that you can find what you are looking for as quickly as possible. If you have previously visited our website you will notice that the new website is very different, but we would love to hear your feedback and thoughts.
This article will act as a quick guide which explains how to navigate the revamped website. With the customer experience at the heart of our redesign focus, our hope is that it will naturally be easier to navigate anyway!
Homepage
Our homepage is one of the more notably refurbished pages, which can be found here. On both desktop and mobile, searching for your dream home has never been easier. This is thanks to the search bar at the top of your screen, where you can filter by location, bedrooms and price, straight away when you enter the website! If you are looking to use more advanced search filters, they can be found in our developments search page, which we will go over later in this article.
Below the initial search tool, you can see our featured Clarendon properties, which will highlight our key developments at the time.
Further down are links to the Clarendon Story, Testimonials and our latest News & Blogs, for those of you who want to learn a little bit more about us, what our customers have to say, and what we have been up to.
At the bottom of the page you will see a prompt for subscribing to our newsletter, to receive exclusive content on all things Clarendon! We’ve also included links to all of our social media pages so you can follow all our news there too.
Developments
As you enter our developments page, you will see a map with our development locations pinpointed, with different coloured pinpoints to indicate whether a development is past or current. When you click on or hover your cursor over a pin, a small image or CGI representing that development will appear, as well as the location and a brief description of the development. This will help you to identify which developments are more suited to your needs, rather than scouring through all of them when some may not be relevant to you.
Below this, there is a new filtering system in your development search. As well as additional filter features such as development name (for those who already know the name of their desired development) and maximum bedrooms, there is also the option to filter by current developments only. This will be the defaulted option so you can quickly see which developments are available, but you can easily toggle to see both current and old developments, if you want to see our previous developments to get a better idea of our quality finishes!
From the ‘Developments’ drop down menu at the top of your screen, you will also be able to access the Gallery. The gallery has also been redesigned, to make it easier for you to find the images which you are looking for.
Development Pages
When entering a specific development page, you will be welcomed by a carrousel of images, which you can swipe/click across at your leisure. You will then be able to see a brief description of the development, alongside information such as the location, prices, availability, a contact us button and a brochure download button.
Lower down the page you will be able to use an enlargeable interactive site map to find the plot for you, as well as a new scroller feature to make finding your desired plot much easier on big sites with lots of plots. There will also be a small bit of text dedicated to the local area of the development, to give you an idea of what the area holds.
We have now also included a dedicated video section for when we have a video or matterport tours of developments, for you to explore the development virtually.
As we know that what our customers have to say is extremely helpful for you, we now feature testimonials from customers who have moved into their homes, on the relevant development page.
Plot Details
Within the plot pages, you will be able to seamlessly switch through the floor plans, a map of the surrounding area, and video tour tabs. The images for that specific plot are also displayed in a more user-friendly manner, as you can now flick through the images and enlarge if you want to.

Under the ‘About Us’ tab there will now be a drop-down menu. This contains links to the following pages:
