Headcorn is a charming village within the borough of Maidstone, Kent. This village is where our Weavers Park development was located, and where our upcoming custom build development Langton Gardens is soon to be built! With it being amongst the peaceful countryside of the low weald of Kent, yet only a short drive away from Maidstone town centre, the location offers you the best of both worlds.

Village Amenities

Within the parish you will find various hairdressers, charity shops, a post office, a butchers, a florist and an abundance of small but inviting unique shops and tearooms. Local pubs include The George and Dragon and The White Horse which both have ⅘ stars on TripAdvisor.

Only a 3 minute drive away from Headcorn village is the Weald of Kent Golf Course which features a beautifully maintained 18 hole course that is open all year round. The venue also has a large clubhouse that overlooks the picturesque course and lakes, featuring a bar and various function rooms to hold events, as well as serving Sunday carvery.

The nearby towns of Maidstone and Ashford provide lots to do. Maidstone is home to Fremlin Walk shopping centre which holds many well known high street shops, while the leisure complex includes an Odeon cinema, Hollywood Bowl and a Gravity Trampoline park. Ashford offers a town centre with a substantial amount of high street shops, a leisure park with a Cineworld cinema and half a dozen fast food restaurants such as Mcdonalds and Pizza Hut. Ashford also has its own McArthur Glen designer outlet featuring shops such as Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Ted Baker and Lacoste, offering products at reduced prices.

Headcorn has its own village primary school, however there are other local primary schools nearby such as Smarden, Platts Heath, and Sutton Valence. For secondary schools there are various to choose from, the closest being ‘The Lenham School’ a comprehensive school in Lenham Village. In addition there are also multiple comprehensive and grammar schools in both Maidstone and Ashford which are easily accessible via car and public transport.
